Amanda:
I have been working at Little Angels from the very early days seven and a half years ago! How time fly’s when your having fun!
I am the Senior Supervisor, I enjoy the responsibility and the administration side of my job but most of all I enjoy working with the children.
Music is my passion as many will know I play the Euphonium in Lakenheath Brass Band. I love to deliver music sessions in the nursery along with all the creative activities.
I have my level NVQ level 4 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. My professional development is always nurtured and encouraged here at Little Angels.
Fiona:
I have been at Little angels for four years now. Joining the team following completing my level 3 Diploma in childcare and education.
I especially enjoy helping the children with their physical development, using the studio gives me the opportunity to plan sessions which the children enjoy explaining why fitness and exercise is good for them.
I am the deputy supervisor which means in Amanda’s absence I have responsibility for the day to day running. I have enjoyed the extra responsibility it has helped my confidence and self esteem grow.
Joan is always on hand to support me it this role.
Becky:
I have been at Little Angels for the last five and a half years. I first came to
Little Angels to gain my NVQ 2 once I completed this in 2006 I was offered a job.
Joan always encourages our professional development – following a one to one session with her I decided it was time to take on my NVQ level 3 which I am currently studying.
I have a particular liking for the little ones as such I look after the under twos.
WHAT THE TEAM SAY ABOUT JOAN! Oh good heavens!
Joan is a very bubbly energetic person who has gained experience and qualifications in childcare over many year’s! (not that many I am only 21!) She is a good leader who always considers the happiness of her team.
She has gained the respect and trust from parent’s staff and other professionals. She is always willing and happy to help out in any way she can, she looks out for the staff’s interests supporting us all in our professional development. Joan interacts well with the children. This is evident in the love they show towards her. Ah bless! this is when the tears kick in.

Tina:
As a mum to two young children and a nursery assistant at Little Angels I am either completely mad or absolutely love children?
I first found Little Angels when I used them for caring for my own children when they were very young. At that time I was considering a career in child care so when I asked Joan if I could volunteer I quickly joined the little Angels team on a part time basis.
That was three years ago; during which time I’ve completed me level 2 in Children’s care, learning and development. Following my staff appraisal this year I am about to start my NVQ level 3 which I am really looking forward to.
I also hold certificates in First Aid and Safe-guarding children as do the rest of the team.
I really enjoy looking after the little ones and love getting to watch so many children grow and learn during their time in our care at Little Angels. So getting back to my opening question – I absolutely love children!
