Lynn:

I am the newest team member to join. I studied with Little Angels who, in partnership with YMCA, helped me to achieve my NVQ level 2 six months ago. I have been a Little Angel ever since! I love working with the children and as part of the team.

I feel am caring and consider the feelings of others at all times.

I especially enjoy the focused activities with the children I look forward to completing more training I will keep you posted! Fiona Amanda Joan and I have just completed Safe Guarding Children on the 10^th of October 2006.

Amanda:

I have been working at Little Angels from day one. Five and a half years ago! How time fly’s when your having fun! I am the Senior Supervisor, I enjoy the responsibility and the administration side of my job but most of all I enjoy working with the children.

Music is my passion as many will know I play the Euphonium in Lakenheath Brass Band. I love to deliver music sessions in the nursery along with all the creative activities. I have my level NVQ level 3 and am busy working on my level 4 which I find very interesting.

Emily:

I have been working on the Team ever since studying at college and on work experience. I went on to gain my NVQ 3 while working at Little Angels, which enables me to take the post of Deputy Supervisor which I enjoy and thrive on! I feel my strengths are and what I bring to the nursery is a keen desire to help the children to discover their imagination this I feel springs from my enjoyment of drama.

I love to get involved in their play! I am currently on maternity leave because I am the very proud mother of Phoebe. I am looking forward to returning to work being fully part of the team and introducing Phoebe to the nursery setting.

Fiona:

I have been on the team for the past two years once I completed my Level 3 following my placement at the nursery during one years work experience from West Suffolk College. I am also a deputy supervisor alongside Emily, we work closely on the self evaluation working directly with Suffolk County Council.

The activities I really really enjoy at the nursery are the PE sessions we do either outside or in the studio on the less sunny days well very rainy ones actually.

Becky:

I have been giving Joan grief for the past three years! She loves it! But on a more serious note I have been studying my NVQ level 2 working in partnership with the YMCA and Little Angels I gained this qualification earlier this year.

I especially enjoy the role play and cookery I am a strong team player and like to use my initiative. I am bubbly and friendly which I hope the chiildren and parents enjoy.

WHAT THE TEAM SAY ABOUT JOAN! Oh good heavens!

Joan is a very bubbly energetic person who has gained experience and qualifications in childcare over many year’s! (not that many I am only 21!) She is a good leader who always considers the happiness of her team.

She has gained the respect and trust from parent’s staff and other professionals. She is always willing and happy to help out in any way she can, she looks out for the staff’s interests supporting us all in our professional development. Joan interacts well with the children. This is evident in the love they show towards her. Ah bless! this is when the tears kick in.
